Comox council has officially nailed down their final budget for 2015. This comes after input from town residents.
Comox Mayor Paul Ives gives the rundown on the numbers, saying the average home will see an increase of $65.65 for the 2015 fiscal year.
That number translates to about a 2.5% residential property tax increase on the average Comox home listed at 347,000 dollars, factoring in utility rates (water, sewer and garbage).
In addition to this, there will be an increase of 1.5% for business property owners in Comox.
