Three schools in the Comox Valley and one flight to the area have been added to the province’s COVID-19 exposure lists.
Aspen Park Elementary, Royston Elementary and Queeneesh Elementary have been added to the exposure list. A breakdown of the dates follow:
Aspen Park Elementary – Nov. 4 and 5
Royston Elementary – Nov. 3 and 8
Queeneesh Elementary – Nov. 2
Island Health says those who have been identified as cases will be contacted directly by Island Health. If they have not received a call or letter, they may continue to go to school unless they develop symptoms.
WestJet flight number 3315 from Calgary to Comox on Nov. 6 has also been added to the list with rows 13 to 19 affected.
The BC CDC says passengers seated in the affected rows should be considered to be at higher risk of exposure to the virus.
The flight is among six others to the Island that has had COVID-19 exposures this month.
