A cyclist has been taken to St. Joe’s Hospital in Comox with what fire officials describe as minor injuries after being struck by a vehicle on Headquarters Road in Courtenay.
Deputy Fire Chief Dennis Henderson explains.
Henderson says local RCMP are investigating.
No word from police on whether any charges are pending, emergency officials have not confirmed whether the female cyclist was wearing a helmet.
