The Comox Valley Community Foundation has confirmed the Catherine Mary Aitken estate will donate over six million dollars to the Foundation.
Norm Carruthers is the President of the Board of Directors of the Comox Valley Community Foundation and describes the moment they first learned about the grant.
Carruthers says this is a huge boost for their coffers and the community.
