The playground and splash park at Comox’s Marina Park has been closed for resurfacing.
The work began Monday and is scheduled to be finished around April 22.
The area will be closed off with construction fencing while the work is being completed.
The adjacent east parking lot will also be blocked off to store materials and equipment.

Workers are starting by removing the structures, putting up the fencing and staging material.
