A Courtenay association has been honored for its conservation efforts.
Every year the province of British Columbia and Ducks Unlimited Canada present a conservation award.
This year, the Courtenay and District Fish and Game Protective Association earned the award.
British Columbia’s Minister of Environment and Langley MLA Mary Polak says the group has a large and loyal membership, which shows that people value the association.
