West Vancouver Sunshine Coast MP John Weston is putting forward his long anticipated bill on derelict vessels this week, as Parliament gets ready to wrap up for the summer, ahead of a fall election.
Weston says the legislation focuses on a problem that’s come up in his discussions with local government leaders around Howe Sound.
Weston tabled a bill on prescription drug abuse last week and also has one in the works around addiction recovery.
Weston says he’s planning to hold some public forums around the riding to get feedback.
