Members of Comox’s Strategic Planning Committee will look over a summary tomorrow from the Climate Action Open House in June of last year.
The open house showcased town-led climate action initiatives and created discussion surrounding future action on climate change.
Another agenda item at Wednesday’s meeting is a development process review report on the streamlining of operations and creating internal systems that focus on continuous improvements in many key areas.
16 development process recommendations will be provided by the report that are grounded in efficiency, effectiveness, and accountability that enables benefits for both the town and those interacting with the process.
If fully implemented, Comox would establish itself as a leader on Vancouver Island with both respect to application processes and community development leadership.
The meeting is scheduled for 5:00 P.M. on Wednesday.
