Police are looking for information after a hit and run left multiple vehicles damaged near downtown Courtenay.
Comox Valley RCMP media relations officer Cst. Monika Terragni says officers were called by a witness at around 12:45 a.m. Tuesday. The witness said they had just heard a crash on the 1900-block of Fitzgerald Ave and reported that they saw a white pickup truck fleeing the scene.
Four vehicles in total were damaged as a result. Officers patrolled the area but did not find the truck.
The pickup is described as a white, newer model Chevrolet with an amber light on the roof. Police add the truck likely sustained significant front end damage.
Anyone with information is asked to call Comox Valley RCMP at 250-338-1321 and refer to file 2023-1633.
