Courtenay residents can expect traffic delays along Lerwick and Mission roads due to flashing red lights.
The city said on social media that the flashing resulted from a vehicle accident that took place over the weekend.
As a result, all commuters are told to fully stop at the intersection, and only move when it’s safe.
Crews are waiting on parts to complete repairs, with the city hoping that it will be fixed by the end of the week.
