With the Snowbirds having arrived at Comox Valley for training, certain areas are restricted from the public.
Access to 19 Wing, Air Force Beach, and Air Force Beach Campground are restricted to authorized personnel, with parking at Air Force Beach having reached it’s maximum capacity.
As a result, there will be no further passes through the beach area until May 15, according to 19 Wing Public Affairs.
There are still some parking areas available in CFB Comox for residents to view the training, which includes the Comox Air Force Museum’s Heritage Air Park, on Military Row, and Glacier Gardens Arena, across from the Air Park.
19 Wing advises residents to not park in unauthorized areas like private residences and businesses, and there is no access to the gates to the base or private property.
