You can learn more about flood mitigation in Courtenay at an information session next week.
The session is a part of the city’s Flood Management Plan, with the goal to help understand the risks flooding poses to the community and develop strategies aimed at reducing their impact.
The city says the info session will teach residents about different types of flooding and allow them to share their opinions on flood risk strategies.
Along with the session, there will also be a survey available for feedback on the strategies recommended during the session.
