Comox Valley bus service to change once school year is done

With the school year wrapping up soon, bus transit in Comox Valley is set to change.

The Comox Valley Regional District and BC Transit have announced this change, which happens annually during the summertime as the school year finishes.

Select school trips will be removed from multiple routes, including route one to the Anfield Centre or Comox mall, route two to Cumberland or the Anfield Centre, and route four to Driftwood Mall or Comox mall.

BC Transit says the trips will come back in the fall, once the school year starts.

The change will be in effect on Monday July 3.
