Traveling from Comox will get easier for residents, as WestJet’s non-stop service to Toronto is returning this summer.
While residents have multiple options for flight access through the hubs in Vancouver, Calgary, and Edmonton, the goal of this service is to provide an easier option for those looking to travel between Comox and Toronto.
Market Development Manager of the Comox Valley Airport, Erin Neely says the service would help make traveling more convenient for passengers.
“To get all the way across the country with no stops, that’s a great addition and we welcome it every summer,” says Neely.
“It’s just nicer when you can hop on one plane and know that’s your only destination that day, is one airport.”
Neely recommends you book early if you were to take this non-stop service, with the service set to run starting on Saturday June 24.
The service is expected to last throughout this summer.
