Road work set to last for a couple months in Comox

For the next couple of months, you can expect some traffic delays in Comox due to reconstruction work.

The work will be done on Lazo Road between Simba Road and Kye Bay Road and traffic will be reduced to single-lane alternating.

The town asks you to use different routes and avoid the construction, unless you are local traffic.

Emergency vehicles will still have access to the area and the work is scheduled for weekdays between 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.

It’s set to run from July 4 to Sept.30.
