A new playground in Comox is on the way, through a replacement project set to start this summer.
The McKenzie Park playground replacement project will see the current equipment be replaced with a newer, and more accessible playground on Quarry Road.
This comes following the project receiving a donation of $44,000 from the Comox Valley Lions Club.
The new playground will include slides, climbing features, and a ReviWheel spinner for children ages 2 to 12.
