Courtenay Fire Department says a small brush fire near Comox Logging Road and Buckstone Road is out.
The fire broke out Friday afternoon and affected a small patch of ground, according to Courtenay Fire. Crews were returning from the scene at around 4:15.
Crews say they suspect it was caused by someone camping in the area.
