A Volkswagen enthusiast’s event is happening later this month, in Courtenay.
The Island Bug Jam will have a cruise through the area, a BBQ, and a show and shine.
The cruise will kick off at Ryan Road, continuing through to Downtown Comox, then to the end of Goose Spit Park. Other locations part of the cruise include CFB Comox, Kim Beach Provincial Park, and the Comox Valley Exhibition Grounds. There will be a hold point on the side of Anderton Road by 40 Knots Winery for others to catch up during the cruise.
The show and shine will showcase a variety of different Volkswagens, with trophies given to the ‘best of’ in each class.
The cruise is set for August 26 at 2 pm with the show and shine to follow on August 27 at the exhibition grounds.
