New collection carts to be delivered to Courtenay, Comox this fall

You should get new waste carts for collection day soon, according to the City of Courtenay.

The city announced today that starting in September, collection carts will be distributed to people with curbside waste collection in both Courtenay and Comox. These carts will be a part of the automated curbside service set for January next year.

They’ll be used for garbage, recycling, and organic waste.

The city adds that while three carts should be given to you by late November, you are asked to continue using your current containers till the rollout.
