BC Ferries says the anchor line has been removed from the anchor cable and service has resumed.
It will be operating with shuttle sailings; leaving as soon as the boat is full in either direction.
They thank passengers for their patience.

The Baynes Sound Connector is holding near the Buckley Bay dock as an active fishing vessel’s anchor line is caught on the boat’s cable.
BC Ferries issued the notice earlier this afternoon, and said the Coast Guard is on the way to help remove the anchor from the line.

They add they will be providing updates when more information becomes available and service will resume once the problem is fixed.
BC Ferries says they appreciate patience as the situation is getting resolved.
