Comox Valley RCMP say an officer is recovering after a man was arrested in Comox on Wednesday.
They say at the got a report of a man with a weapon behaving erratically at around 2:15 p.m. When police arrived, the man left in a vehicle, but he was quickly located.
Officers say he was tactically contained and arrested, but several vehicles were damaged in the process and an officer sustained minor injuries.
They add the man got medical attention and is facing multiple charges.

RCMP say they thank residents for their patience while traffic was disrupted.
