Celebrations have been held on the completion of the Campbell River Legion – Branch #137’s kitchen renovation supported with funding from the New Horizon for Seniors Program.
North Island MP John Duncan recently toured the newly renovated kitchen with Mr. Barry Watson, Manager of the Campbell River Legion #137 at a recent event celebrating the completion of the project.
The organization upgraded their kitchen to be more senior friendly and accessible to introduce new programs for seniors including cooking and canning classes, luncheons, socials, and workshops.
