Campbell River RCMP confirm at about 12:30 PM today they received a request for assistance in the 700 block of South Alder Street.
Police officials say they found three individuals inside the residence that were in need of medical assistance, as they were victims of an assault.
The individuals were taken to hospital with minor injuries. Campbell River RCMP Street Crew Unit is investigating with the assistance of the Forensic Identification Unit, Police Dog Service and General Duty members.
Police say the investigation to date indicates that this was a targeted occurrence and there is no concern for the general public.
