The Salvation Army says they are launching an integrated facility that will provide support services to the Comox Valley community.
The organization says it will be held at its church at 1580 Fitzgerald Ave. It adds the centre will provide a holistic approach and expanded support team to help those in need.
Services will include professional counselling, chaplaincy, life skill classes, job skill training and children and youth programs.
A glimpse of the operations will be available at an open house today (Jan. 31) between 2 and 4 p.m. and attendees will have an opportunity to explore and learn more about the facility.
“We are thrilled to introduce this new integrated facility, which represents a significant step forward in our commitment to serving the community,” said captain Kevin Elsasser.
“We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the community for their unwavering support, as their generosity has made this project possible.”
