Local Mounties are investigating a pair of unrelated incidents involving knives, one of them involving a recent stabbing in Courtenay.
Valley RCMP Constable Don Sinclair has details on the first incident…where a male suspect brandishing a knife threatened to stab a female on 6th Street.

The investigation continues by local RCMP on both incidents, no names have been released.
