Victoria Day events and activities set in Cumberland

With Victoria Day on the way, the Village of Cumberland will have multiple events and activities for you to check out.

According to the Cumberland Events Society’s schedule, there will be a pancake breakfast at both the Legion and Masonic Hall from 8 to 11 a.m., costing $5 per person.

During the morning, the CCSS Thunderballs fundraiser on Dunsmuir Avenue starts at 9:15, followed by Fun Zone at Village Park at 9:30, and the Victoria Day Parade starting at 10.

The Village says Dunsmuir Avenue from Egremont/Sutton Rd to Seventh Street, First Street from Dunsmuir to Windemere Avenue, and Beaufort Avenue will be closed for the parade.

Following the parade, there will be a ceremony, dance, beer garden, stage performances, children’s races and bicycle draw between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.
