A local petting farm is returning to Comox next week.
Starting Monday, the Town of Comox Hands on Farm will reopen at Filberg Park, running seven days a week from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. until August 18.
Recreation Supervisor Amy Bauman says it’s a good learning opportunity for children.
“Our variety of summer camps at Filberg Park and Hands on Farm are perfect for children who are interested in learning about our farm friends and enjoying a summer at the park,” said Bauman.

Admission rates for the farm range from $6 to $10 depending on group size, with a summer family pass available for $40.
They are also looking for volunteers to lend a hand and are open to anyone over the age of 13.
