The Conservative candidate for the Courtenay-Alberni riding, a long time MP in Vancouver Island North, has weighed in on his motivation for once again throwing his hat into the ring, for the 2015 federal election.

As for choosing to run in the Courtenay-Alberni riding instead of his old riding, which now includes Powell River, he says he has been supporting and mentoring Laura Smith, his former advisor, for quite a number of years to take over in Vancouver Island North.
He says with the redistribution of the ridings, that made sense.
