An Aurora aircraft has been damaged this morning at 14 Wing Greenwood during an attempted takeoff.
Officials say the plane aborted takeoff and slid off the runway.
Environment Canada says conditions at the base at the time included thunderstorms with rain showers.
All 17 people on board escaped without injuries. A major investigation continues on the cause, including a precise damage assessment of the aircraft.
