As work continues on the new Comox Valley Hospital, plans are in the works for what will happen to St. Joe’s in Comox.
President and CEO Jane Murphy says the residential care and hospice care will remain on site at St. Joe’s.
She says a task force is working on the transition plan.
Murphy says St. Joe’s is very excited to look at new and innovative approaches to seniors care and also to find services that will compliment the acute care services that will be offered at the new Comox Valley Hospital.
