It’s orientation day for North Island College students.
College spokesperson Christiana Wiens says events are being held at both the Comox Valley and Campbell River campuses. She says the events include a barbecue at both campuses and a hiring fair at the Comox Valley campus.
Wiens says it’s an opportunity for students to get organized and check out the campus before classes start. She notes that the first day of school can be very confusing, especially if you’ve never been to the school you’re attending.
