The Tour de Rock riders are making their way down Vancouver Island.
The tour began in Port Alice on Sunday and riders will be heading to Sayward today.
Port McNeill RCMP officer and rider Brent Shemilt says his junior rider has been a big source of support and motivation as he’s done his training.
Shemilt says the positive attitude shown by his junior rider and his family has been very inspirational.

The tour will be in Campbell River on Tuesday and the Comox Valley on Wednesday, September 28th.
