The head of the Vancouver Island Construction Association says 2016 will be a banner year for the Island’s construction industry.
CEO Greg Baynton says high in-migration and low interest rates are helping to boost residential construction.
Baynton says the association has upgraded its outlook for this year, similar growth next year and an up-tick in 2018. The Comox Valley Regional District posted the largest quarter over quarter gain at 171%.
