Too many British Columbians are spending the majority of their income on rent, according to the BC Non Profit Housing Association. The Association says they consider a “crisis level” of cost as spending more than half your money on rental housing…
And Executive Director Tony Roy says that is happening for 24 per cent of renters in the Comox Valley. .
Roy says the numbers show a real need for more affordable rental housing developments in BC.
