COURTENAY, B.C. – The Comox Valley Raiders Youth Football Club saw all four teams in action this past weekend.
All teams competed at Courtenay’s Bill Moore Park.
The senior bantams (ages 14, 15 and 16 years old) hosted the Victoria Spartans and earned a 15-6 win. The Spartans forfeited the game at half-time.
The midget team (16, 17 and 18 years old) fought hard and lead against Westside 12-9 but the Warriors scored a late-game touchdown to win 17-12.

The junior bantams and pee-wees played hard against Oceanside but lost.
The senior bantams face North Delta on the road next Sunday, while the midgets hit the road against White Rock.
The junior bantams and pee-wees have a bye week, and will face Westside on September 22nd.
