One local man is not happy with the controversial BC Hydro smart meter program, and he’s looking for other like-minded members of the Comox Valley to join him in the fight.
Kel Kelly is spearheading a local campaign, starting with a meeting at 2727 Merville road on Thursday, May 29th. He says the meeting will help identify all of the smart meter holdouts in the Valley.
“Those of us that are out here in pockets here and there around the community don’t know who each other are,” says Kelly. “Eventually, this is going to become a legal battle in the courts, and we’re going to need each other and to know who each other are, not just for legal rights, but for confidence and security.”
