No injuries after Courtenay vehicle fire

COURTENAY, B.C- A car caught fire at a major Courtenay intersection today.

Emergency services were sent to the corner of Ryan Road and Lerwick Road, at the top of Ryan Road hill.

When firefighters arrive, they found that the blaze was contained to the vehicle’s engine, and knocked it down quickly.

The scene is now in the process of being cleared.

No injuries were reported from the scene.
