Comox Valley RCMP and Courtenay Fire Department crews responded to a male pedestrian being struck by a tractor trailer at Cliffe Avenue and 20th Street late this morning.
Courtenay Fire Chief Don Bardonnex says the pedestrian did not appear to have suffered life threatening injuries, and was taken by ambulance to St. Joe’s Hospital in Comox.
The RCMP investigation continues.
