CFB Comox training exercises expected this week

19 Wing Comox is letting you know some training exercises will happen this week.

It wants to make sure you  are not alarmed when you hear or see large amounts of military personal in the area.

The base says 12 military police will be training on September 9th and 10th at CFB Comox, and at HMCS Quadra on Goose Spit, from 11:30am to 3:00pm.

It says military police vehicles will be present but no lights or sirens are expected.

Training will also happen at the base on September 11th and 12th.

19 Wing says security force personnel will be training in their distinctive CADPAT camouflaged uniforms.

The training will happen between 10:00am and 3:00pm.

Residents and visitors are reminded that these activities are routine military training and you don’t have to report them to 19 Wing Comox or to local emergency services.
