The Vancouver Island MusicFest is a showcase of some of music’s best performers.
This year is no different, with names like Lyle Lovett and Buddy Guy showing up to jam!
It’s brought to the Island by the Comox Valley Folk Society.
Goat News caught up with MusicFest’s Artistic Director, Doug Cox. He says the Society strives to promote music and multi-culturalism in the Valley.

He adds that there’s some local talent that they try to include in the festival every year.
But he says that it’s not necessarily a headliner-driven event.
The Vancouver Island MusicFest takes place at the Comox Valley Fairgrounds and runs on July 10th to the 12th.
