The Comox Valley Regional District and Island Health have lifted the boil water notice for all users of the Comox Valley water system, effective immediately.
The district says after daily sampling and regular monitoring of the system since the notice was put in place on Saturday, January 2nd, the CVRD and Island Health have confirmed that water quality in the system is now safely within provincial drinking water guidelines.
The CVRD recommends that you run all cold-water faucets and drinking fountains for one minute before drinking or using the water.
