Three teenagers are recovering in hospital after a scary late night incident in the Comox Valley.
Saturday night around 10:30 pm, a call came through to local emergency services and the RCMP for a possible stabbing on Pritchard Road near Highland Secondary school.
According to several social media reports, the area known as the ‘sandpits’ was the site of a party.
Three youth suffered injuries in the incident.
The MyComoxValleyNow.com newsroom followed emergency crews as they airlifted some of the teens to nearby hospitals.

One youth is in custody after an assault in Comox that sent three people to hospital. On April 17, 2021 at approximately 10 p.m. frontline members of the Comox Valley RCMP
received a report that three youths had been stabbed at an outdoor party in Comox.
The suspect was quickly identified and arrested. The victims all sustained serious injuries and were taken to hospital by Emergency Health Services. They are all in stable condition and expected to recover.
“The school district has activated their critical incident response team which will be available to support students, families, and staff after this alarming incident” said Cst. Monika Terragni, Media Relations Officer, Comox Valley RCMP.
