The Comox Valley RCMP are hoping the public can help find a man who may have stole some power tools from a local business.
Police say the theft took place in late April at the Central Builders Home Hardware store in Courtenay.
Investigators have a surveillance shot of the suspect and are looking to identify him. He is believed to be associated with a red Suzuki Sidekick SUV.
The RCMP is also hoping to find the culprit behind a stolen fire truck.
On May 27th, they received a report that the Denman Island Fire Department had been broken into and one of their duty trucks was stolen. The truck was quickly recovered at the north end of the Island, but investigators are still looking for the person behind the theft.
