Comox residents have four candidates to choose from in the upcoming municipal byelection.
Steve Blacklock, Don Davis, Jonathan Kerr, and Judy Johnson have now been declared, and are vying for the council seat vacated by Pat McKenna, who resigned on Aug. 31st.
McKenna left council, and Comox, so he can move back to his hometown of Antigonish, Nova Scotia to be closer to family.
The byelection is happening on Saturday, Nov. 27th from 8:00am to 8:00pm at the Comox Community Centre, with COVID protocols in place.

Advance voting days at the Genoa Sail Building at Marina Park (127 Port Augusta Street) are:
- Wednesday, Nov. 17th from 8:00am to 8:00pm
- Saturday, Nov. 20th from 10:00am to 2:00pm
- Wednesday, Nov. 24th from 8:00am to 8:00pm
