The Comox Valley Hospital’s emergency department has received $7,000 from this year’s McHappy Day.
The money will be used for youth and child mental health supports.
McHappy Day took place on Sept. 22
The Comox Valley Healthcare Foundation said in a news release that they are incredibly appreciative of the support.
“Ensuring children and youth have emergency access to the mental health supports they need is extremely important,” said Bill Anglin, Comox Valley Healthcare Foundation Board president. “Thank you to Stuart and the team at McDonald’s Comox Valley for raising funds for healthcare.”
