The Cumberland Community Schools Society (CCSS) is once again raising funds with online and in-person bingo on Wednesday nights.
Online bingo starts at 6:00 pm on the CCSS bingo Facebook page, and the in-person events kick off at 7:30 pm at the Cumberland Legion.
All money raised from these events will be used for CCSS programs including the drop-in youth centre, after-school activities, Cumberland’s food bank, and the healthy food program.
“Online bingo has built up such a community that we couldn’t let it go,” said Kate Ashton, program coordinator for CCSS. “That being said, we missed the community gathering that in-person bingo creates, so we decided to run them both.”

The CCSS is now in its seventh year of holding bingo events.
