The Comox Valley Regional District (CVRD) board has re-elected Jesse Ketler as board chair and Arzeena Hamir as vice-chair.
The election took place at the CVRD meeting on Tuesday.
Ketler and Hamir will keep these positions for at least the next year.
“The CVRD board is committed to helping our community,” said Ketler. “We understand the financial constraints, community needs, and the important steps we need to take in order to keep our community resilient. I look forward to continuing to support the regional initiatives and helping keep our community strong.”

The board consists of municipal officials appointed by their respective councils and elected representatives.
The CVRD board chair and vice-chair are selected each November.
