Possible delays are expected early next week in Courtenay, due to bridge work.
The delays are the result of bridge washing being done on both 5th street and 17th street bridge, with motorists advised to watch for crews.
Along with the delays, single-lane alternating traffic will be in effect as work continues.
Work is scheduled to run between 8:00 pm and 5:30 am, lasting from Monday to Wednesday next week.
