You and your family will be able to interact with farm animals in Comox, as the Hands on Farm is set to return next week.
Located at Filberg Park, the farm will have a variety of animals shown to the public, including goats, sheep, bunnies, and piglets.
Recreation Supervisor Andrew Clements says with the farm reopening, there will also be summer camps available for children to participate in.
“The Comox Community Centre offers summer camps at the petting farm for ages 3 and up and a farm club for children ages 9 – 12 years,” says Clements.
“Our camps are perfect for children who are interested in learning about caring for our farm friends and assisting with the feeding, grooming and barn chores.”
The Town adds that admission to the farm is six dollars for one to three people, ten dollars for four to six people, and 40 dollars for a summer family pass.
The farm will be available from 10 am to 4 pm seven days a week, with the farm set to be open on Monday June 12th.
It will remain open until August 20th.
