You’re invited to a special sneak preview of the forthcoming documentary 8 years in the making: ‘Tamera: The Village of Lovers.’ 

THE CHALLENGE OF COMMUNITY
So many of us dream of living once again in thriving collective community (aka, ‘village’) as it was for the majority of human history. Yet, most modern attempts at “building community” have failed, often leaving folks more disillusioned or burnt out than before.
To attempt to regenerate community is to directly confront the forces of separation and domination that characterizes modern industrial society.
In order to effectively serve community, it requires a fundamental shift in how we understand the core pillars of what is needed – including our collaboration with Eros – the primary force of Life.
How might we reclaim an embodied aliveness at the intersection of where our erotic meets the sacred? ****How might we partner with Life and co-create our collective emergent future?
 
ABOUT TAMERA
In the Oak-dotted countryside of Southern Portugal lies Tamera Healing Biotope one of Earth’s most radical social experiments in human futurism.
Tamera began in the “free love” utopian movements of the 1960s’ and 70’s, yet realized that the necessary social change had to run deeper than reactions to the dominant system. Tamera discovered that at the core, **regenerating trust** – especially in the most intimate areas of human life – was the missing key to long-standing cultural and political change.
 
Now, 40 years later, Tamera has become a world leader recognized for its pioneering work in ecosystem restoration and cultural healing. They bring activists from all over the world to participate in their “Love Schools” as well as other educational programs.
 
Tamera: The Village of Lovers is the most comprehensive exploration of their story, revealed for the first time.
